Charge at home, your way. The RAAD EV Charger – Type 2 Socket delivers AC power through a Type 2 socket, so you can use your own charging cable or an adapter to suit your vehicle. Choose the app-controlled 11kW version, or the RFID version, to match how you want to manage charging.
The Type 2 socket gives you maximum flexibility: charge different EVs, use the cable length you prefer, and adapt to future vehicles. ECAS compliant and built for UAE conditions.

Which EV charging station is right for my vehicle?
Choose the Type 2 Socket Version if you need flexibility for different EV charging standards using compatible charging cables or adapters. Choose the Type 2 Cable Version if your vehicle has a Type 2 charging inlet and you prefer the convenience of an integrated 5m charging cable.
What charging standard does my vehicle use?
Most electric vehicles in the UAE use the Type 2 AC charging standard. Some imported vehicles may use GB/T, NACS, or Type 1 charging inlets. If you're unsure, contact us with your vehicle make, model, and year, and we'll help identify the correct charging solution.
Do I need a qualified electrician to install an EV charging station?
Yes. Installation should always be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with local electrical regulations and the manufacturer's installation requirements.
Are RAAD EV Charging Stations compliant for the UAE?
Yes. RAAD EV Charging Stations are ECAS compliant under the applicable requirements of the UAE Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) ECAS Product Certification Scheme. RAAD products are tested by accredited laboratories and, depending on the model, also comply with internationally recognized standards such as CE, RoHS, REACH, and ETL, where applicable.
Can I use one charging station for different electric vehicles?
Yes. The Type 2 Socket Version allows different compatible charging cables or adapters to be used, making it suitable for households or commercial locations with different EV brands and charging standards.
What smart features are available?
Depending on the selected model, available features may include APP Control, RFID Authentication, and Dynamic Load Balancing (DLB).
What warranty do you provide?
Our EV charging stations are supplied with a 2-year limited warranty covering manufacturing defects under normal use and in accordance with the warranty terms.
Do you provide installation services?
EVTRIX supplies EV charging equipment and can coordinate installation through qualified third-party installation partners. Installation availability depends on the project location and site requirements.
