OCPP 1.6 for Managed and Paid Charging
OCPP 1.6 connects compatible chargers to a charging-management platform. Charge point operators—CPOs—can authorise users, monitor equipment, remotely control sessions and collect energy-use records.
The operator’s software uses these records for billing, with payment collection handled through the relevant integration. Confirm charger and platform compatibility for the required functions before ordering.

AC and DC for Different Commercial Sites
Workplaces and residential communities: AC charging suits longer parking periods for employees, residents and company vehicles. RAAD offers 7kW, 11kW and 22kW configurations, with OCPP 1.6 on applicable commercial models.
Hotels, malls and public parking: Select AC or DC around visitor parking time, vehicle capability and expected demand. Charging can be offered as an amenity or a paid service under the appropriate operating arrangement.
Fleets and EV charging stations: DC charging supports shorter charging windows, while AC can serve vehicles parked between duties.
In Dubai, independent public charging operators require the relevant DEWA CPO licence.
